About
Educating children gives the next generation the tools to fight poverty, prevent disease and build more resilient and peaceful societies. The adoption of SDG 4 was both a recognition of the importance of education and a commitment to achieve more ambitious outcomes in education access, learning outcomes, and skills development. For every child to participate meaningfully in society, all girls and boys must gain access to quality education.
