About
Drawing from the priorities of young people across the world for promoting adolescent girls’ rights, this brief sets out five solutions rooted in partnerships that provide a clear pathway to transforming girls’ lives and safeguarding their futures. They include programmes to promote adolescent girls’ health, nutrition, learning, and skills-building, as well as protecting against violence and harmful practices, such as child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM).
Together with partners, UNICEF aims to galvanize action on urgent interventions that can yield life changing results for girls. Girls’ leadership, agency and voices are at the heart of this work.
