WHAT IS THE MINIMUM PACKAGE OF SERVICES
- it is an umbrella concept that introduces an integrated model of basic services provided at community level (in health, education, social protection and child protection);
- it focuses on the most vulnerable children and their families;
- it addresses and prevents social problems (violence, poverty, early pregnancies, preventable diseases, lack of access to cash benefits and school dropout etc.)
In most cases, children face several and diverse deprivations, on social, educational and health levels. This underlines the importance of a cross-sectoral approach.
