Highlights
A report on the state of urban and rural water supply, wastewater collection and treatment in both urban and rural areas, water supply and sanitation in schools and health centres, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) funding and financing in Viet Nam. The main objective of this report is to formulate recommendations to the Government of Viet Nam and development partners on a funding and financing strategy for WASH going forward.
This assessment is facilitated by UNICEF Viet Nam, the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development under the Joint SDG Fund to support Viet Nam towards the 2030 integrated finance strategy for accelerating the achievement of the SDGs.
