Highlights

The document provides a detailed description of the 2018-2021 programme, its processes, major results expected and strategies for achieving those results.

The Country Programme Document (CPD) for Sudan 2018-2010 was jointly developed by the Government of Sudan and UNICEF, to ensure alignment with national priorities as defined in the National Strategic Development Plan 2017-2020 and to also respond to the all five outcomes of the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF).

The 2018-2021 Country Programme draws on key lessons learned from the previous Country Programme cycle (2013-2017), including those informed by the midterm and gender reviews, the evaluations of the field-office function and UNICEF humanitarian action in North Darfur and nationwide household surveys and studies.
