The COVID-19 pandemic has upended the lives of children and their families as health systems buckle, borders close, and schools and businesses shutter.

As the coronavirus has spread, so has misinformation – fueling discrimination and stigma. UNICEF is working with health experts to promote facts over fear, bringing trustworthy guidance to parents, caregivers and educators. Knowing the facts is key to being properly prepared and protecting yourself and your loved ones. Be sure to get your facts from reliable sources, like UNICEF and the World Health Organization.

It is easy to get your vaccination

You can just arrive at a vaccination site, but registering beforehand will save you time as that way your details are already in the system.

You can choose when and where to get vaccinated once you are registered. You can also change your vaccination appointment https://vaccine.booking.health.gov.za

Once you are fully vaccinated, you can download your Vaccination Certificate from https://vaccine.certificate.health.gov.za/
