Welcome to UNICEF Myanmar's Early Childhood Development (ECD) Hub. This platform is designed to be a comprehensive resource designed to help parents, caregivers, and professionals support the growth and development of young children.
The early years of a child's life are crucial. They lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning, growth, and success. Our lives can be fundamentally changed by the experiences and opportunities we provide to our children during these formative years. This is why we have created the ECD Hub, to support everyone involved in nurturing our future generations.
Story Books for Children
Giving children opportunities to read story books in the language with which they are most familiar will help them build self-confidence, become fluent in their language and ready to learn other languages. This will help them develop in all aspects - cognitive, communication and social-emotional development.
Animated Video Series
UNICEF’s YouTube channel features a variety of animated videos for children
Daily life of Tee Tee
During a crisis, children, particularly those under the age of five, are the most vulnerable. This vulnerability often results from our failure to listen to their concerns and needs. As children's daily routines undergo drastic changes in these challenging times, parents often need assistance to create positive, nurturing experiences amidst the ‘new normal’.
To address this need, a 14-part animated video series called "Daily Life of Tee Tee" has been developed. This series can help parents and caregivers to understand how to foster their children's development through everyday activities at home.
Story books for children
This animated video series, accompanied by 44 storybooks, is specifically designed for children with visual or audio impairments.
Training Materials for service providers
