Condolence message from UNICEF Representative in Iran following the deadly attacks in Kerman

“One week has passed since the horrific and deadly attack in Kerman which took dozens of lives including the children in Kerman. UNICEF Iran extends sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to the families of victims as well as the people and government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on this tragic event. We are particularly saddened that 23 school boys and girls were among the dead. Children are not, and must never be the target of violence. We wish a speedy recovery to those injured in this attack, especially the children.”
