The Convention on the Rights of the Child has become the pillar of international collaboration to promote the protection of children and safeguard their well-being.

Since its adoption by the General Assembly of the United Nations more than thirty years ago, significant progress has been made in this area. This progress must take into account the challenges, often linked to the development of society or the economic situation in which the children live.
