Are we on track to achieve the SDGs for children?
An interactive dashboard on progress
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) chart the course for a brighter, fairer and more prosperous future for all. At the heart of the Agenda is a call to leave no child behind.
Five years since world leaders committed to achieving the SDGs, are we on track to achieve the Goals for children? Do we have enough information to know?
We have assessed the performance of countries in Europe and Central Asia to date, focusing on 44 indicators that directly concern children.
The findings are sobering. A staggering 442 million children live in countries where the SDGs remain out of reach. Additionally, an average of 64 per cent of child-related SDG indicators in Europe and Central Asia either have insufficient data or show insufficient progress to meet the global targets by 2030.
This interactive dashboard offers an in-depth, country-by-country view of the latest data points, along with an assessment of whether targets are being met, on track, off track or lacking data availability.
