About

In Ethiopia, where there are over 1.2 million young children (ages 4-6) with disabilities, the Government has made significant efforts to leave no child behind by mainstreaming inclusion of children with disabilities within education policies, strategies and plans. As a result, over 63,000 children with disabilities were reached through the pre-primary programme as part of the national Education Sector Development Plan from 2020-2023.
