UNICEF continues relief works in Myanmar's delta
YANGON, Myanmar, 28 July, 2008 – UNICEF Myanmar will continue relief works until the lives of cyclone-affected families are fully restored said Ramesh Shrestha, UNICEF Representative in Myanmar.

60 Days after Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar
YANGON, 16 June 2008 — Two months after Cyclone Nargis claimed the lives of over 84,000 people in Myanmar with 54,000 yet to be traced, UNICEF continues to strengthen support to children and families in the worst-affected areas with medical and nutritional supplies, water and sanitation, getting schools to re-open and protection of children.

German Agency to cooperate with UNICEF to provide safe drinking water for displaced population in the cyclone affected areas.
Yangon, 06 June 2007 – Today Federal Agency for Technical Relief, Bonn, Germany signed an agreement with UNICEF to provide safe drinking water to displaced population in selected sites where water treatment plants will be installed in Ayeyarwady and Yangon.
