UNICEF Partnerships
Partnerships are critical to achieving results for children. In view of recent public discussion about UNICEF's engagement with partners and donors, it is important to underline that UNICEF collaborates with a broad range of organizations and entities that share the core values of the organization. It screens some 400-500 organizations and entities annually to ensure that their activities are in accordance with UNICEF's mission. UNICEF is committed to helping build a world in which all children are able to survive and thrive. It values the support of all people and all nations irrespective of their race, religion, ethnicity or political beliefs.In the twelve months to July 2008, UNICEF has declined partnerships with more than 20 entities from around the world, many of which are engaged in activities that are legal but do not conform to the spirit of UNICEF's mandate and policies.
