Highlights

UNICEF’s Budget Briefs analyse the size and composition of Ghana’s national budget allocations to sectors that are particularly relevant to children in the current fiscal year, and they offer insights into the efficiency, equity and adequacy of past spending and looking future projections. The briefing documents cover the health and nutrition, education, water, sanitation and hygiene, child protection, youth empowerment and social protection sectors.  

The budget briefs have synthesized complex budget information and includes key recommendations for public finance decision making processes, so as to leverage domestic resources for the children of Ghana.
