Highlights
Promoting and protecting the rights of children in the country requires reliable and accurate statistics on children. The Department of children (DOC) under the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGSCP), developed the Data Gallery in 2015 to consolidate and document the scattered statistics of child related issues.
The 2017 Data Gallery is an extract of statistics from 2010 census, national surveys, and annual reports of key institutions in the Child rights protection and development sectors. The Gallery illustrates the progress made from 2016 to 2017 presented in a graphic form for easy understanding of issues in the various sectors.
